BCD Integrated
Safety Signal Tube

This unique signaling tube is packaged in a trim holster and attaches easily to Jacket Style BCD's on the right rear BCD overpressure relief valve. SMART tubes are also designed for certain model Back Mounted BCD's. It is diver activated by unclipping the side release buckle which releases the SMART tube from its holster. Inflating the BCD causes air to flow from the BCD into the SMART tube inflating it firmly to it's full 5' length. The SMART tube is now inflated and divers hands are free for other purposes. Check valve keeps air in the SMART Tube even when diver releases air from the BC (to deflate SMART tube after the dive simply hold over pressure valve Release Cord firmly in the "open" position while rolling up SMART tube). SMART Tube comes equipped with two versatile elastic Holster-to-BCD retaining straps.

Since the overpressure release valves are different on many of today's BCD's we have made the SMART tube available in 5 different models to fit the following manufacturers recent jacket style model BCD's.

SMART Tube does not fit all models of manufacturers BCD's listed below. SMART Tube does not fit certain "Wings" back mounted style BCD's where overpressure relief valve is located in the "front"of BCD.

SMART Tube must be Dealer Installed by professional repair technicians.
